Jonathan is a published author, national speaker and has been a continuing education provider for all of the top personal training certifications in the country.  He has helped people recover from exercise related injuries and move to independent fitness.

Jonathan graduated from Juniata College in 1997 with a B.S. in Holistic Allied Health (B.S.).  In 1999, he earned his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Chatham College in Pittsburg, PA (MPT). He went on to earn his Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM CPT) and his Certification as a Golf Fitness Instructor from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI CGFI). He is one of fewer than 150 treating clinicians in the United States to earn his manual therapy certification as a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP).

In 2004, along with opening his physical therapy and fitness center, he co-founded Physical Therapy Solutions, lecturing on the east coast as one of only two education companies in the country teaching personal trainers, the orthopedic foundations of exercise.  He co-created the “Rehabilitation to Recreation” concept, now used within his physical therapy practice and fitness center.

He has been approved as a Continuing Education Provider for all the top personal training certifications in the country including the:

  • American Council on Exercise (ACE)
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
  • National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
  • Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFFA)

In 2007 Jonathan wrote and published "Physical Therapy Musculoskeletal Examination: The Clinicians Reference Manual," a guide for physical therapy students and clinicians to organize and better understand the principles of orthopedic physical therapy patient examination.

With over a decade of clinical and fitness experience he has helped people realize the truth about exercising with a purpose.  In "Stop Exercising: Until You See This," Jon gives you the answers and techniques that prevent you from getting injured and more importantly get you results.  Learn from his experience.  You won't get this anywhere else!
